the National Childbirth Trust website for information on joining, or call our
dedicated membership helpline on 0870 990 8040.
Step 2
If you want to be invited to a postnatal tea to meet other new parents, please
contact postnatal@claphamnct.com,
with details of your due date.
To have access to all the support, information and services the NCT provides,
you need to become a member.
As a charity, NCT relies on donations and membership fees in order to continue
its work in order to offer every parent a positive experience of pregnancy and
life with their new baby. If you have found the website helpful, please join us
so we can help others.
Membership costs just £39 for the first year (£36 for Direct Debits), £29 (£26
for DD) for second and subsequent years, and covers two people living at the
same address.
Or perhaps your daughter, friend, colleague, sister or partner is pregnant? You
can buy an NCT membership as a gift, which will help her find out more about
having a baby, while making new friends.
Discounted membership - We offer reduced subscription of £1 per annum for those
entitled to free prescriptions as a result of low income or age (ie under 16).
Why should you join the National Childbirth Trust?
Just a few, of the many, good reasons:
-
Meet new friends through your local NCT branch — We have a network of branches
throughout the UK. So wherever you live there’ll be one near you where you can
meet other parents who are going through the changes of having a baby.
-
Receive regular magazines from your branch — The branch magazines are
packed with local information, details of what’s on in your area and groups you
and your baby can go to, as well as all your local NCT branch activities,
events and Nearly New Sales.
-
Have the right to vote at our AGM — As a member of the NCT you can help
influence the future direction of the charity by using your vote at the AGM.
-
Have representation at government and local policy levels — The NCT is seen and
respected as a large user organisation and represents the needs and priorities
of parents across the UK, at both government and local policy levels, to ensure
continued improvements in relevant services.
-
Receive NewGen, our membership magazine, four times a year— Our lively and
informative magazine contains accurate, well-researched articles on a range of
subjects from pregnancy through to life as a parent.
-
Know that your membership is helping the NCT— Your membership fee will help us
continue to deliver services and support other parents.
